My name is Jory and I share my life with my seven year old Rottweiler , Steinplatz
Callisto Bailey, CGN, PCD, CD, TT, call name Bailey.. we live in
the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. I have always had an affinity with animals and grew up riding horses, later show jumping and always had dogs in my life. |
Over the past 20 years, I have researched, studied and applied methods of positive
motivational dog training , the holistic approach to dog nutrition and care and
the human/animal communication bond and all it's aspects and therapeutic animal
massage techniques. |
I am a Level One Reiki practitoner. I offer obedience and behaviourial consults and training locally for dogs and therapeutic massage for dogs and horses. It's my belief that many behavioural problems encountered in dogs are a lack of early socialization and training and on-going training as dogs can and do learn new things their whole lives, and in fact..that is what enriches both their lives and the lives of their human companions. Many training difficulties that I have encountered have been the result of a lack of understanding by the owner, as to how dogs learn and canine social structure. |
